Against 54.79%
Swiss voters reject rightwing initiative to cap the country's population at 10 million (current population: 9 million). Referendum results: yes cap 45%, no cap 55%. The 'yes cap' vote was strongest in German-speaking rural regions, while the 'no cap' vote was strongest in French-speaking urban areas
